Checking in With OKU Basketball

High school basketball is already underway for a handful of teams in Northeast Oklahoma, with a few schools still inching closer to their season opener.
Oklahoma Union opened their basketball season last Friday at home for the Dewey Bulldoggers. The night belonged to Dewey as the Cougars fell, 87-40.
With an extended time off in between the first and second games of the season, head coach Riley Duncan talked about the approach for his team.
The Cougars return on Dec. 5 for their first road game of the season against the Nowata Ironmen in a county rivalry game.
Senior guard James Bottoms talked about the rivalry between OKU and Nowata.
