City Golf Championship Starts Saturday
The Jim Curd Sr. City Golf Championship has been a tradition for more than 30-years in Bartlesville and again is being sponsored by Dinks Pitt BBQ. The two-day tournament will feature the top two golf venues in the area and some of the best golfers the state has to offer.
This year the opening round on Saturday will be at Adams Golf Course, with the finale on Sunday finishing up at Hillcrest Country Club. Jim Curd Jr. says it’s great to get to play the event at two great local courses.
Jordan Boerio won the title last year over former Rogers State University golfer Preston Bartley. Boreio is a three-time winner of the city championship. One more title would tie him with Nathan Hughes who is the only four-time winner of the championship.
We will have coverage from the Jim Curd Sr. Dink’s Pit BBQ City Golf Championship this weekend with check-ins, interviews and score updates on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1 in the late afternoon on Saturday and Sunday.
