Dewey Softball Back in Action With Younger Group

Dewey softball kicked off their season earlier this week, as the Lady Bulldoggers look to continue a trend of recent dominance in years past.
 
A season ago, Dewey finished 29-9 overall with an experienced group. They won their district and hosted a regional to kick off the postseason. The Lady Bulldoggers were eliminated in the regional rounds of the playoffs.
 
This season, Dewey has just one senior in Mackenzie Hedges. Head coach Riley Allen talks about Hedges.
 
Through just two games this fall, Dewey is 1-1. They beat Lincoln Christian on Monday, 22-10, and fell to Sequoyah (Claremore) on Tuesday, 14-13. Both games were district games to start out the season.
 
Allen talks about what's been working for this team at the plate.
 
Dewey will meet Sequoyah again on Aug. 17 at home.
