Huskies Face District Foe in Week Zero Matchup
The Pawhuska Huskies look to get their season started off on the right foot this Friday when they travel to Nowata to face a familiar foe in an early district matchup.
With the Huskies facing Nowata in this week zero district matchup, Hennesy knows it is important to come out and play well so that they can start 1-0 in district play. He went on to explain why they plan out the schedule this way.
Hennesy credits Nowata Coach Chance Juby for the improvements he is making to that Ironmen program after a 4-6 season last year, its best since 2019. He says their gameplan won't change, but admits Nowata does have some impressive athletes.
That ballgame can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
