It was a split decision in Pawhuska on Monday night, as the Lady Huskies defeated Dewey 61-54 and the Bulldoggers defeated the Husky guys, 48-45.

The Lady Huskies trailed for a majority of the first half. Cassie Snead was a major reason for that, as she led all Lady Doggers with 22 points. For Pawhuska, it was sophomore Brooklyn Miles working hard once again. She finished with 29 points and with Pawhuska trailing late in the first quarter, it was an assist to Emily Curry that stood out.

The Lady Huskies led by three at halftime before going on to get the seven-point win.

The boys game was back and forth, seeing several lead changes. Pawhuska trailed by six entering the fourth quarter and could never get a stop, which would allow them to take a lead. Pawhuska's Darian West was in double figures, as was Zach Renfroe and Gage Hawkins for Dewey.

These two teams will meet again next Tuesday in Dewey.
