Indians Back in Action Wednesday Afternoon
We finally have some Doenges Toyota Indians baseball back on the air on Wednesday afternoon, as the Tribe begin their final home games of the season this week.
Bartlesville is hosting two games Wednesday and one game Thursday in pool play for the Oklahoma Stan Musial World Series.
The Indians enter the event at 20-9-2 on the summer. Wins on both days for the Tribe would send the club to the semifinals of the statewide tournament in Chickasha on Friday.
The Wednesday 4:30 game will feature the Indians and the OK-Lookouts. The Lookouts then play Tulsa Sandlot at 7:00.
The Indians will take on Sandlot on Thursday at 6:30 to wrap up the three-team pool.
The program is trying to shake off a post Glen Winget Tournament hangover. The club lost its only game since winning the Winget. It was an 8-2 defeat in the first round of the DBAT League Tournament a week ago.
