The Doenges Toyota Indians fell to the Ada Braves on Saturday night in the finals of the state legion tournament.

The Indians fell to Ada, 14-7.

Bartlesville got off to a good start offensively, striking for another first inning run. This double by Grant Goldman put the Indians in front.

Ada responded with two runs in the bottom of the first inning to take their first lead. The Indians had an answer with two more in the top of the third to take the lead back. Once again it was Goldman, this time with a sacrifice fly to tie the game.

Goldman finished with two RBI. He went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Easton Davis grounded out to drive in the second run of the inning and give Bartlesville the lead. He finished with two RBI and one hit. He scored two runs.

Ada responded with seven runs in the bottom of the third to take a 9-3 lead. The Indians scored two runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to try and get back in the game. The Braves scored two in the fifth and three in the sixth to put the game out of reach.

The loss sends the tournament to its final game. If the Indians win, they win the state championship and advance to a south regional in North Carolina in two weeks. A loss and the season is over.

The Indians get the Braves again at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning. Coverage can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM, 1500 AM - KPGM, with video coverage on KWONTV.com.
