Indians Baseball Swept by Tulsa Sandlot

The Doenges Toyota Indians were swept by Tulsa Sandlot Wednesday evening at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
 
Bartlesville dropped game one, 8-6, they lost game two, 8-0.
 
The Indians got down early in game one after the Sandlot struck for five runs between the second and third innings. The Indians put two runs together in the third to stay in the game but fell back behind by six.
 
This Kamen Sprague double to left field in the bottom of the fourth kept Bartlesville in it.
 
Sprague's double was Bartlesville's first hit of the game, they finished the first game with three hits.
 
The Indians left the tying run at second base in the bottom of the seventh.
 
In game two, Bartlesville's bats were shut down. The Indians struck out 13 times and were held without a hit for the second time this summer.
 
The Sandlot struck for five runs in the top of the first and three more in the top of the third to take command early. 
 
Pitching for Bartlesville was a bright spot in the finale. Zane Griggs made a relief appearance, he struck out the side in the top of the fourth.
 
Griggs struck out four over 2.2 innings pitched.
 
The losses drop the Indians to 12-6 on the summer. They are back in action at home Friday night for RBI Native at 7 p.m. It's RE/MAX Night at the Ballpark.
