Indians State Bracket is Set
Bartlesville’s summer baseball team has its bracket for this weekend’s Oklahoma State Legion Tournament.
The Tribe will try to win State and move on to Regionals next month in a tournament out of state.
The event begins on Thursday. The Indians will face McCloud in the first round at 1:45. Marietta and the Ada Braves will be the other two teams in the tournament. It is a four-team double-elimination event hosted in Ada.
New this year, the Bartlesville Braves will also play in the 17-and-under Legion State. This will be dubbed the AA tournament.
That is a three-team double-elimination tournament that also kicks off on Thursday afternoon.
We will have the Indians games for you on the radio and on KWONTV.com this weekend. Game one at 1:45 on Thursday afternoon.
The Indians are 20-11-2 on the summer. After a busy late June and early July, the Tribe has played only two games since July 5.
Several of Bartlesville’s collegiate regulars will be too old to play this weekend.
