Lady Bruin Golf Wrapped up State
Tuesday evening Hillcrest Country Club put the finishing touches on the first of two 6A State Tournaments being hosted in Bartlesville.
The past two days it was the girl’s turn, then this coming Monday and Tuesday is the boy’s 6A State event.
The BHS girls team finished 12th on Tuesday and one shot back of 11th. A good result for a mostly younger group of Lady Bruins who got to play at home for State.
Jenks won the State title by five strokes over Edmond North. Norman North finished third with Owasso a distant fourth.
Meanwhile individually Vivian Symes again led the way. Symes finished 34th with a two-round score of 21 over par. Aisley Keirsey, a freshman, finished only two shots back of Symes at 37th. Ava Parham was tied for 51st.
