Lady Bruin Swim Excels at State

Congrats to both the Bartlesville High swim teams, as BHS wrapped up another fantastic 2025-26 swim season on Saturday in Edmond.

The Lady Bruins took second in 6A behind Jenks, while the Bruin guys took fourth behind Jenks, Edmond Memorial and Edmond North. 

A few of the highlights from the weekend:

Anna Young won gold in the 200 freestyle. She also finished second in the 100 butterfly.

Parker Shoesmith took second in the guy’s 200-yard IM. He also finished second in the 500 freestyle.

And Ashlynn Taylor took the gold in the 100 breaststroke.
