Lady Bruin Volleyball Midnight Practice

The first Bartlesville High School fall sports practice is already in the books, as all high schools can start volleyball, softball and cross-country practices on Wednesday.
At BHS, the volleyball team practiced just after midnight early Wednesday morning. Third year head coach Andrew Blain said the team did a lock-in last night with games and then practiced once the clock hit July 15.
The Bruins were not together as a team since the end of last fall’s season until the first part of the summer. Blain details the BHS volleyball offseason.
It will be the first time in a while that Bartlesville could be looking at a bit of a rebuild. BHS has graduated 16 seniors over the past two seasons. It has been several straight years of reloads for experienced players and high expectations.
BHS has won more than 20 games in four of its past five years, and has been above .500 in five straight campaigns.
Blain talks about a key returner and a bunch of fresh faces for BHS this fall.
Aisley Keirsey was the other main returner that Blain mentioned for the Lady Bruins this fall.
Scrimmages won’t start until the end of next week, with Aug. 10 as the season opener.
Bartlesville volleyball went 20-17 a year ago.
