Nowata High School Holding Media Day Friday
Nowata High School is putting on their first media day event Friday to showcase each fall program.
Football, softball, cheer, band, agriculture and e-sports will get their pictures taken and showcase themselves before the school year begins in mid-August.
Friday's event is more than just talking about each program and getting to know the students and student-athletes that will be a part of it. Students will also get a boost in career advancement.
The Nowata Community Foundation is also chipping in as well as a handful of local businesses to put out decorations and have a t-shirt for each student.
The football program will start off the day at 9 a.m. A full schedule for each program can be found below.
