OKU Football Preparing for Fall Practice

Oklahoma Union football is nearing the end of summer workouts with fall practice starting up in just a few weeks.
 
The Cougars are just over a month into their summer pride program. OKU is not participating in a passing league this summer, putting a heavier emphasis on workouts both in the weight room and on the field.
 
As have a handful of schools in the area, severe weather throughout the summer has forced some schools to adapt. As a whole, Nowata County was hit with multiple rounds of rainfall in June and the severe storms on July 4.

Fall practice starts on Aug. 3. The Cougars open their season on Sept. 4 at home for Drumright.
