Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball is back in the NAIA postseason.

The Eagles are coming off a runner-up finish in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) tournament, with their lone loss in the tournament by a run to the 1-seed Kansas Wesleyan, 11-10. OKWU enters the national tournament with a record of 36-17 overall, and a 24-12 record in the KCAC.

In the opening rounds of the postseason, the Eagles are the 4-seed in a five team bracket. OKWU is paired with LSU Shreveport, Mid-America Christian, Loyola University New Orleans and Huston-Tillotson.

The Eagles closed out the regular season winning 13 of 15 games, and counting their run in the KCAC tournament, put together a seven game winning streak before falling to KWU in the finals.

Head coach Kirk Kelley says everything has been working lately.

OKWU opens the NAIA tournament against Huston-Tillotson on May 11 at 11 a.m.

If the Eagles are able to win their opening round bracket, they would head to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho starting May 22.
