OKWU Basketball Continues Homestand Wednesday

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball continues their three-game homestand on Wednesday night.
 
Both clubs host Southwestern College (KS) in another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader.
 
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are coming off a cold shooting night on Saturday afternoon after a 59-44 loss to Sterling College. The Lady Eagles are 3-6 overall and 0-5 in KCAC play.
 
Head coach Heidi Messer talked about her team being sturdy in their identity.
 
On the men's side, the Eagles are looking for their ninth straight win. OKWU took down Sterling to remain unbeaten in conference play, 88-70. The Eagles are 9-1 overall and 5-0 in KCAC play.
 
OKWU played 16 players in Saturday's win. Head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about the impact depth has played on his team's defense.
 
The Lady Eagles will get the night started at 6 p.m. with the men to follow around 8 p.m. Coverage of both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
