Oklahoma is headed back to the Women’s College World Series finals, as the Sooners dispatched of UCLA easily in the second of two possible semifinal games on Monday afternoon in Oklahoma City.

After UCLA forced game two with a win over OU at noon, the Sooners would wallop the Bruins 15-0 to get back to the best of three championship round.

Jocelyn Alo was the hero, this grand slam was the exclamation point on the win.

OU will try to win its second straight national title… in a Red River rematch not Bedlam. As Texas topped Oklahoma State twice to knock the Cowgirls out of contention for the title. UT beat OK-State 5-0 and then 6-5 to advance.

With their ace on the mound in the second game, Oklahoma State’s defense let them down. The Pokes committed two errors on one play which allowed the Longhorns to take a 6-5 lead. OK-State had led 5-0 earlier in the game.
