Pawhuska Rolling Through Spring Ball

The Pawhuska Huskies are in the second week of spring practice. Having lost the starting quarterback, several skill position players, many offensive line and a head coach, some may look at this as a re-building year, but that isn't the belief in Pawhuska.
First year head coach Brandon Gipe was unable to be at a few practices last week due to unforeseen circumstances. All four assistants were on last year's staff and Gipe said they did a great job leading the way.
Some of the familiar faces coming back in 2026 include Trip Walker, Jenson Snodgrass, Jimmie and Vann Wildcat, Dane Jenson and Jaden Spicer, who is back on the team after opting out last season.
Gipe says offensively this team won't have the kind of tempo that recent Pawhuska teams have had. Adjusting to the new style of offense is one of a couple things Gipe says his team needs to work on over the coming week.
After spring ball wraps up this week, Pawhuska will go to Dewey for a team camp next Wednesday and Thursday.
