Heading into last years Class A State semifinal game against Cashion, the Pawhuska Huskies led the nation in points scored, averaging 69.5 points per game. Cashion wasn't far behind, averaging 64 points per contest, which was second across the state of Oklahoma. Both defenses dominated though and the Wildcats escaped Pawhuska with a 7-6 victory. That is why Coach Matt Hennesy says he will take points whenever his team has the chance.

Hennesy says Pawhuska will step on the field against a team on Friday night with the belief that they can win. Hennesy said the Huskies don't always see that from their opponents and that is why this game will be so difficult.

Friday's game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. from Ponca City High School. For those unable to attend, pregame coverage will start on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com at 6:30 p.m.
