Scott Martin Introduced as Nowata Football Coach
Nowata Public Schools announced the hiring of Scott Martin as the new head coach of Nowata football during a special meeting of the Nowata Board of Education last week.
Martin spent last season as the offensive line coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He has been a head coach at the high school level at eight different schools with 29 combined wins.
Martin talks about what brought him to Nowata.
A season ago, the Ironmen finished 2-8 with a young bunch, coming off the heels of Nowata's first playoff appearance in football since 2019 the season prior.
Martin replaces former head coach Chance Juby who was dismissed in December.

Martin is the 34th coach in program history.
