Season in Review: Nowata Ironmen

Nowata Ironmen basketball finished their season last week in the regional consolation rounds. With their season complete, we look back at their campaign.
 
Despite coming one win away from area for the second year in a row, the Ironmen had lots of positives to build on. They finished the season 16-10 and captured a Northeast Valley Conference championship with a 7-1 conference record. Nowata won just two conference games last season.
 
Head coach Derick Ott spoke on how his team matured this season to compete with the teams in the area.
 
Nowata will lose five seniors for next year's squad, with standout players such as Chelo Prince and Ryan Walton graduating. Talon Thompson, Adrian O'Dell and Clint Harrington are all set to return next season as the Ironmen build on that experience.
 
Ott spoke on what he's looking forward to during the offseason.
 
Nowata basketball will start the 2025-26 campaign between late November to early December.
