Season in Review: Nowata Ironmen Boys Hoops

Nowata Ironmen boys basketball came to a close during the regional consolation rounds in Tonkawa in late February.
 
Coming off a 16-10 season last year and a Northeast Valley Conference championship, Nowata finished with four conference wins this season. The Ironmen finished the postseason 1-2 and got eliminated in the regional consolation semifinals by Tonkawa.
 
Head coach Derick Ott talks about his younger players using this season's defeat as motivation next season.
 
Nowata graduates two seniors this year in Talon Thompson and Brett Malone, and essentially brings back four starters from this year's team next season.

Nowata finished out the 2025-26 campaign with an overall record of 12-13.
