Shawn Barker Wins City Golf Championship

The Bartlesville City Golf Championship wrapped up on Sunday at Boots Hollow Golf Club.
 
Shawn Barker took home the championship flight for the sixth time. He held a one shot lead after day one and won the championship by three strokes. Barker shot a 69 on day one and a 71 on day two. Current Bartlesville Bruin Damien Walker finished second.

Barker has been playing in the city championship since 1976. The win is his sixth championship.
 
Boots Hollow Golf Club hosted the second and final day of the tournament this year after renovating the course last year. Last summer, both days of the tournament were played at Hillcrest Country Club.

In the senior and first flights, Trey Soto won the first flight with a net score of 133, nine shots ahead of runner-up Matt McCollough. 
 
In the senior flight, Tommy Richmond finished first in gross score. Randy Allison finished first in net score, which incorporates the player's handicap. Jason Gulley finished second in gross score, Wes Bates finished second in net score.
