Sign-ups Open for Pawhuska Youth Football Camp
Sign-ups are open for the Pawhuska Youth Football camp. This is a three day event running from Wednesday, August 7th through Friday, August 9th. Students in grades one through six are able to participate. Cost is $50, but it is free to Native American students.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon daily and you don't have to attend Pawhuska Public Schools to attend. Each player will be taught the fundamentals of each position on offense, defense and special teams. Lectures will also be given on the importance of character development, education and motivation.
There will also be a Youth Football Coaches Clinic at 6 p.m. on that Tuesday inside the Pawhuska Training Facility. All PYS coaches are encouraged to attend, but it is mandatory that at least one staff member from each team show up. For more information, you can call Coach Matt Hennesy at 918-360-2467.
