A few results to get to from over the weekend, as there are only a handful of spring sports still kicking now throughout the area, Monday begins the final week for spring sports throughout the state of Oklahoma…

Congrats to Dewey Bulldogger senior Braden Garrison, as he broke a state record that had been in place since 1979 on the Saturday. Garrison won the 4A State Championship in shot put. His throw of 64-feet and 4.75 inches broke a record that had stood for the past 45 years.

We will have more wrapping up track and field from lower classification schools later this week…

It was only Regionals this past weekend in Class 6A and Bartlesville High will send 12 student athletes to State.

Campbell Barta, Kadence Barnett and Gentry Turner headlined the girl’s side. Wesley Turner was the only Bruin boy to qualify in pole vault.

The 6A State Tournament will be this weekend in the Oklahoma City metro.
