TU Basketball Standout Signs Summer League
A Tulsa men’s basketball star has signed to try to stick on an NBA roster during the upcoming NBA Summer League.
Miles Barnstable, who helped TU to a 30-win season this past spring, will play with the San Antonio Spurs this summer. Barnstable averaged nearly 15-points-per-game with 103 three-pointers with the Golden Hurricane last year.
Tulsa tied for second in the American Athletic Conference and made the NIT Finals before losing in overtime to Auburn.
His first game will be July 9 with the Spurs against the Atlanta Hawks.
Tulsa has only five returners for next year, highlighted by one of the best freshmen in the American in Jaylen Lawal.
