TU Football Picked 12th in American
Tulsa football was picked 12th out of 14 teams in yesterday’s American Athletic Conference preseason football poll.
TU is still breaking in a new era of football, with head coach Kevin Wilson entering his second season with the Golden Hurricane. Wilson went 4-8 this past fall in his first season with the program.
Wilson says he sees some positives signs.
Tulsa was picked 11th out of 14 teams a year ago.
The American is still 14 teams this fall, adding Army West Point after losing SMU to the ACC entering 2024.
Tulsa finished second in the American in 2016, tied for first in 2020 then for third in 2021. TU has not been to a bowl game since 2021.
Golden Hurricane football airs on KRIG 104.9 FM this fall.
