WCS Girls Young in 2025-26
Wesleyan Christian School girls’ basketball is off to a 1-0 start, as the Lady Mustangs beat Riverfield in their opener, 47-44.
Head coach Kendall Huntington, who is the daughter of longtime Copan head boy’s coach Kevin Foreman, is back again to lead WCS.
She talks about win No. 1 for the Mustangs.
It is a younger group for Wesleyan Christian this winter. Huntington says six of the 11 players on the roster are freshman this season.
There is only one senior, which makes the Riverfield win all the more impressive.
Huntington details this year’s Lady Mustang roster.
WCS will have a home double-header against Mingo Valley on Tuesday before the Mustangs take on Barnsdall on Dec. 5.
