Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball tips off the NAIA national tournament on Friday night at home against Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO).

The Eagles are the 1-seed in the Liston quadrant and will host a national tournament game at the Mueller Sports Center for the first time ever. OKWU enters the national tournament as the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) regular season and tournament champions.

After having over a week off between the KCAC championship game last Tuesday and this Friday's game against SUNO, head coach Donnie Bostwick talks about preparing for Friday.

Last season, OKWU went all the way to the national championship game and finished as the national runner-up for the first time in program history. It was their first appearance in the title game since the Eagles won the championship in 2009.

Bostwick talks about the opportunity to play in the national tournament once again.

OKWU and SUNO meet Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Mueller Sports Center.
